The Company
My client is a privately-owned business in the construction industry. They are well established and have a strong brand name which continues to grow. Their offices are modern, well located and close to both public transport and motorways.
The Role
This position reports to the FC and will be working on a large capital project. As Accountant no two days will be the same as you post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, both manually and electronically. Your business insights will be challenged as you reconcile discrepancies by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognising the effect on other accounts.
You will also be looking at Capex, capital expenditure and reclassification of revenue on a large capital project.
Your Profile
- Degree qualified in Commerce, Business or related field.
- Brilliant skills in Excel - VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
- Exceptional experience with large ERP systems.
