Our client is a start-up Financial services organisation in the heart of Auckland CBD, due to unprecedented success, they are looking for a Management Accountant with 3+ years’ experience to join their finance team.
This is a newly created role, which represent an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain excellent experience in this growing organisation. At the heart of the success is the ability for the business to use technology and artificial intelligence to drive efficiencies and customer experience. As the management Accountant you will need to be able to embrace technology and welcome the opportunity to develop your skills around it.
This is a closely-knit team with a great sense of ownership, can do attitude and a high achieving culture.
Some key responsibilities would be:
- Review and reporting on monthly management accounts
- Assist in preparation of budgets, forecasts, daily/weekly/monthly cashflow forecasting
- Monthly maintenance of rolling 12 forecasts
- Commercial Analysis
- Board Reporting
- Monthly dashboard reporting for both external and internal stakeholders
- Potential management of accountant
Key requirements:
- NZCA Qualification is essential
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Management accounting and reporting
- Strong Excel skills and analytical ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiasm and commitment to make a difference and add value
