The Prison Capacity Portfolio is responsible for ensuring our prisons have the capacity to meet the demand of increasing prisoner numbers in the short, medium and long term. It’s a large, complex programme of work ranging from some of the largest capital spend in the public sector, to some quick interim short term solutions.

The Portfolio is delivering over 1,500 additional prisoner beds by February 2020, this has a significant impact on our operational business. As Implementation Project Manager you’ll bring a strong change focus, as you work with key stakeholders to understand and operationalise the readiness requirements of different sites. Working with our site based project teams, you’ll oversee the timely delivery of workstreams and activities, ensuring the project is completed within time, whilst meeting our contractual obligations and regulatory requirements. There is a key engagement component to identify new ways of operating and to bring people on the journey from current to future state.
