About the role:
 

As the Traffic Management Plan Designer, you will provide support to our Traffic Management Delivery Team. You will be a valued and integral member of the team. Drawing on your Traffic Management background along with strong I.T. skills, this will be a varied role where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:

  • Drafting of Traffic Management Plan diagrams within required time frames.
  • Creation of the Proforma detailing all information pertaining to the work area.
  • Ensuring all required documentation produced meets required legislation, Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) or local RCA requirements.
  • Identify shortfalls in design principles or TMP accuracy and take proactive steps to rectify those shortfalls.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Manager

 

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Class 1 – minimum requirement
  • Traffic Management experience - preferred
  • STMS Level 2 NP or higher – preferred
  • Thorough understanding of CoPTTM
  • Operational TTM experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of TMP design software including AutoCAD and/or Rapid
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Advanced time management
  • Computer Literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Team-player
