About the role:
As the Traffic Management Plan Designer, you will provide support to our Traffic Management Delivery Team. You will be a valued and integral member of the team. Drawing on your Traffic Management background along with strong I.T. skills, this will be a varied role where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Drafting of Traffic Management Plan diagrams within required time frames.
- Creation of the Proforma detailing all information pertaining to the work area.
- Ensuring all required documentation produced meets required legislation, Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management (CoPTTM) or local RCA requirements.
- Identify shortfalls in design principles or TMP accuracy and take proactive steps to rectify those shortfalls.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Manager
Skills and Experience Required:
- Class 1 – minimum requirement
- Traffic Management experience - preferred
- STMS Level 2 NP or higher – preferred
- Thorough understanding of CoPTTM
- Operational TTM experience an advantage
- Knowledge of TMP design software including AutoCAD and/or Rapid
- Excellent computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Advanced time management
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team-player
