With increasing projects comes the need to increase the team and current needs include experienced main contractor background Quantity Surveyors.

You will be part of the civil engineering/infrastructure team and will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Working with quality clients building valuable genuine relationships are a key focus for this company, together with creating amenities and facilities which enhance communities across the city.

The role of Quantity Surveyor will include responsibility for working on projects from the tender and submission stages through to the construction phase, working on variations, applications for payment and re - measures of completed work, as well as preparing monthly financial reports for your line manager and the client.

You will need to have a good knowledge of and have worked on:

• Civil engineering projects and be able to suggest alternative materials and products
• The site team to produce budgets and cost reports on an ongoing basis
• Settlement of progress claims and final claims with the client and the sub contractors
• Setting up agreements and contracts

Having gained a qualification in construction, ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying, you will be able to demonstrate experience in the civil engineering sector and have a good knowledge of contractors and suppliers across Auckland and surrounding regions.
