Accounts Clerk
Albany Students' Association is contracted to Massey University to provide student services on the Auckland campus in Albany. We're on the hunt for an accounts clerk to handle the regular processing of all facets of the Association's accounts, those of our affiliated clubs and societies, and payments related to our advocacy service hardship fund.
The Job
Key tasks will include:
- Accounts payable and receivable duties
- General book keeping and journal entry
- Affiliated club payments and grants reconciliation
- Payroll
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly reports
- IRD compliance (PAYE/GST)
- Reception duties as required
You'll Need
- To be great with numbers!
- To have an eye for detail and exceptional EXCEL skills and accurate data entry
- XERO accounting and MYOB payroll experience would be advantageous
- A confidential nature
- To get on well with University students
- To be very adaptable. We are a small team and there are times when everyone rolls up their sleeves to muck in. Never a dull day!
Hours
This is a part-time role (16-20 hours over 4 days) and actual hours to be worked will be negotiated with the successful candidate. You must be available to work during school holidays.
