My client is one of the largest national construction companies in New Zealand and they are currently in a need of a Project Manager. You will be working for a top performing Commercial Construction Company renowned for its excellent workplace culture and business values.

I am looking for talented people who want to be part of a great team that believe in best practice principles, ensuring top quality construction standards and defect-free delivery.

You will take ownership of the project outcomes ensuring they are delivered safely, successfully to a high quality, within budget and detect free. You will be able to provide leadership to the project team and expert technical support when required. You will also address personal development opportunities to those direct reports.

As the successful candidate you will have superb time management skills and be able to effectively prioritise your work and meet deadlines. You will have the following attributes:

• Qualification in Project and Construction Management
• Have extensive experience in construction management of a large scale commercial projects
• Strong technical and project planning skills
• Ability to lead, coach and motivate project teams
• Understand profitability issues associated with project/understand construction cost plans
• The ability to produce programmes and management of a programme
• Customer focused and commitment to providing a high quality of service
• Ability to delegate tasks
