RESIDENTIAL SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – PRIVATE CLIENT BUILDS
 
We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and professional Residential Senior Quantity Surveyor with both practical and theoretical experience through either a Main Contractor or Consultancy. This company pride themselves on delivery and are particularly customer focused.
 
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
 
My client is a locally owned and operated Residential Home Builder with a specialization in in fill housing as well as their own speculative house and land packages. They have been operating for more than 20 years and have built an excellent reputation with work all over Auckland. These builds are managed through a Bespoke Project Management System with which requires a lot more customer care and to take multiple builds right from the consenting process right through to client handover. Typical volumes of homes required to be managed simultaneously is between 10–13 in various locations with roughly a 50 / 50 office vs on site split.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
 
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be running residential projects from $200k - $1M. You will be responsible for effectively managing the team of QS's to provide commercial expertise and financial delivery on various projects.
This organisation needs an enthusiastic, proactive and commercial minded Quantity Surveyor to bring experience of running multiple residential projects and help add value to the development of the team.
 
IDEAL EXPERIENCE / SKILL SET

• General commercial and contract management
• Managing and mentoring junior staff and the rest of the commercial team
• Producing cost budgets and variations
• Completing reports and liaising with key stakeholders
• Procurement
• Final accounts
• Cash flow and revenue forecasting
• Assisting with tender process
