With a buoyant local construction market, our client has got its work cut out producing quality projects on time and within budget.
About the Role:
This company requires a strong and experienced Site Supervisor to manage and lead crews on-site on both earthworks and infrastructure projects throughout the greater Auckland region. The primary purpose of this position is to supervise land development sites efficiently and effectively which will enable our client to complete works on time, within budget and to the client's expected standard. You will be responsible for managing sub-contractors, ensuring H&S is up to standard, QA, running the project to spec among other important duties.
Duties:
- Manage staff and sub-contractors on site
- Ensure H&S is at a premium
- QA
- Report on aspects of the project
- Work closely with engineers and mangers
- Supervise crews on subdivisions, land development projects and infrastructure
Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in the construction industry
- Civil specific experience (land development a must)
- Relevant tertiary qualification a bonus
- Strong communication capabilities, verbal and written
