My client is a leading shopfitting/joinery company in need of a motivated and experienced Project Manager to work on the delivery of projects; the position entails both office and site work. With a strong forward workload, this is the ideal time to join a company continuing to grow. This position is paying $90-120k depending on experience. NZ and interiors experience is ESSENTIAL to be considered.
This role is ideally suited to a Project Manager who has the ability to manage tight delivery deadlines whilst coordinating bigger picture elements such as future projects and client liaison and reporting on project progress. Applications are sought from candidates who can demonstrate highly effective organisational and communication skills and previous career experience in the interior fit-out or shopfitting sector.
Candidates will have the following experience:
- Proven ability in managing fit-out projects, delivering on time and to high quality levels in the NZ market
- Interior fit-out experience gained in NZ
- Relevant tertiary degree and/or trades qualification
- Experience in liaising with stakeholders and the client in a professional manner
- Ability to manage communication and project documentation
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Experience in programming work and ordering materials
- A strong health and safety focus at all times
