This commercial main contractor have enjoyed sustained success and have a national presence. They are actively growing their foot print in the Auckland market and are seizing on opportunities. They work on mid to large sized jobs up to $30M and cover the typical range of commercial, industrial and warehousing, but they also work across the education sector with some secure large contracts in place.

They are now looking to recruit a talented estimator to secure profitable new business in line with strategic growth goals.

As a lead estimator it is expected you will carrying out a number of duties involving the:

• Management, co ordination and preparation of estimating and tendering documents
• Conducting price research, reviewing rates and margin analysis achievable for projects
• Attending design meetings
• Sub contractor selection

This is an important role and is a critical link for achieving company performance and profit targets, it requires a high performing estimator:

You will have:

• At least 5- 6 years of estimating experience, ideally from a local main commercial construction contractor
• A sound understanding of the NZ construction industry, ideally the Auckland market
• Be tertiary qualified with a relevant degree of diploma
• Possess drive, ambition and with a success driven attitude
• Outstanding communication and organization skills

A leading market salary of $120K - $170K is on offer and access to other firm benefits.
