Stellar Recruitment is currently searching for experienced Foremen for one of our most valuable clients. The company has multiple sites located in various locations around Auckland. They are well known for their very successful and high quality projects. They are experiencing substantial growth and are increasingly busy, so are currently in need of a number of Foremen. 

The successful candidate will have:

• Preferably 5 years' experience in the construction industry
• Proven previous onsite experience in a leadership role
• Comprehensive knowledge of the building process from start to finish
• The ability to read plans, blueprints and drawings
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly direct a team
• The ability to think quickly when on site and come up with solutions to the various problems that may arise

Your new duties will include:

• Supervising the day to day activities of a large team of workers
• Coordinating and allocating general site duties
• Monitoring Health & Safety procedures to ensure on site compliance
• Reporting progress to supervisors, engineers etc
