ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you looking for a role where you get to work with a variety of projects and sizes and will be given career development opportunities? You will be responsible for all site based activities, quality control, and organizing sub-contractors.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing Health and Safety on site (with support from company HSE manager)
- Co-ordinate resources onsite to construct works accurately per the drawings and specification;
- Review Drawings and Specifications to ensure buildability of works prior to works starting;
- Working through design issues with the project team, contractors, clients and consultants
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor
- Site set up and close up;
- Supervision of all activities on site
- Accurately reporting progress to internal managers;
- Running subcontractor meetings;
- Assisting the Project Manager in the preparation of site reports
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in the construction industry with a strong trades background
- At least 4-7 years’ experience as a site manager
- Computer Literate and IT savvy
