We are based in Lower Hutt and cover the greater Wellington region. Our projects range from $1 million - $30 million plus. We cover the full construction sector including education, human and animal health, retirement complexes, retail buildings and earthquake strengthening work.

You will be the commercial lead on multiple construction projects. You will be an integral part of our project delivery team where you will hold key responsibilities associated with the financial success of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximise profitability of projects
- Provide valuable commercial and strategic advice and analysis
- Responsibility for all financial contractual issues
- Provide leadership and direction for the QS team
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risk
- Review and develop operational process flows
- Mentor and train the QS team
- Resolve contractual and commercial problems
- Contribute to tenders, business development and strategic direction
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Senior QS role within Commercial Construction
- Comprehensive understanding of contractual law
- Demonstrated evidence of overseeing consistently profitable projects
- Commercially astute with strong financial analysis skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
- Strong understanding of construction processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate and problem solve
- Exemplary stakeholder and relationship management ability
