Franklin Smith are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor Administrator for a project in Albany with a tier 1 main contractor. This role will last circa 6-10 months and will be paid by hour. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate to get some amazing experience within their career.

What we are looking for:

• Ability to work as a team
• Experience of cost control measures to ensure margin targets achieved
• Familiar with Sub Contract procurement
• Able to review, assess and certify interim subcontractor payments
• Able to produce accurate CVR reports
• Experience of using Estimating and accounts software packages
• Willingness to assist in development of junior members of staff
• Awareness and knowledge of different forms of construction contracts
• Ability to produce and manage external account matters
• Display a proactive approach
• Ensure that good Client relations are developed and maintained
• Report to the Surveyor and Surveying Director

Ideal Candidate:

• Commercial / Quantity Surveying working towards degree (desirable)
• Commercial Administrator experience
• Excellent Education
• Must have confident communications skills.
• Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office
