About the roles:
Fulton Hogan Auckland is looking for experienced Temporary Traffic Management staff to become Foreman for either day or night shifts (Silverdale Dayshift and Mount Wellington Night shift). These are challenging and rewarding positions that will assist with the execution of our Traffic Management plans for the Auckland Region, in support of our Department Supervisors. This will be both a physically and mentally demanding role that comes with a great deal of responsibility.
As a working Foreman you will be charged with:
- Organising staff, plant and equipment for traffic management and general
duties for internal and external customers. - Helping implement schedules of work, plant maintenance and equipment cleaning
as well as equipment stock take. - Establishing TMP’s (Traffic Management Plans), and performing Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) duties.
- Utilising your knowledge and skills to help train and mentor staff.
- Performing STMS duties - implementing Traffic management sites as per the TMP and TMD, Driving TMA and AWVMS.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Class 2 license
- STMS Level 2/3 Practicing qualification minimum
- You must have experience coordinating jobs and be good with leading staff
- Customer focused, a self-starter and innovative in thinking
- Work well under pressure, and a deadline achiever
- Dedicated to ensuring the safety of self and others
