What can our construction projects build for you?
The Baypark to Bayfair Link Upgrade Project is a 4 year NZTA (New Zealand Transport Agency) project located in Mount Maunganui, which adjoins the south eastern North Island city of Tauranga. The 1.7km Link Upgrade closes out the ongoing upgrade of State Highway 2, running through Mount Maunganui and Tauranga - a heavily trafficked transport corridor. Through the specific project area, State Highway 2 is an urbanised thoroughfare between the recently completed 4 lane expressway known as the Tauranga Eastern Link and the existing expressway running to the north.
Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Site supervisor, you will be completing a range of operating tasks which a necessary to day to day operations and keeping to challenging timetables. As an experienced operator you with be able to complete works to final trim standards and help maintain a high standard of health and safety onsite. This opportunity allows you to earn a competitive rate and work with a Tier 1 contractor on a long term project with potential for ongoing work, CPB Contractors also offers opportunities for high achiever to work on other projects throughout New Zealand and around the world.
Ideal candidates will possess the following:
- Class’s 1 to 4 & WTR
- Final trim on civil construction sites
- Solid experience in operating multiple civil construction plant & equipment, including Excavators and Loader
- Self-motivation, a positive attitude and the ability to work as a team
- Be reliable and flexible team player
- Demonstrated experience working on a site with high safety standards
