Our client is Australasia’s leading supplier of piping systems across plumbing, refrigeration, gas heading and mechanical! With over 60 years as a leading player in the market their reputation is unsurpassed and the range of product they represent is impressive.

 

Due to growth they are seeking a quick-thinking customer focused Team Leader, whom excels in a busy environment. 

This role will be challenging and will require you to manage service levels and targets, handle and resolve customer escalations, drive performance through mentoring and coaching, to muck in and lead from the front along with establishing long standing relationships with wholesalers.

You will need to be a dynamic, customer and process-oriented team player with sound computer and organizational skills. Your sense of urgency is key, you’re at home in a product & supply environment, you’re well versed in problem solving and you are ready to lend your skills to this established team.

 

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager you will:

  • Proven leadership experience, preferably in a Product Based Role
  • A strong service orientation. Process control and enhancement
  • Constantly striving to do things more efficiently – best practice
  • You will be a logical thinker, a problem solver and a 'bigger picture' person.
  • Good reporting skills. Strong PC skills
  • An understanding of business process in relation to Customer Services
  • Strong time management. Can handle pressure and enjoys a busy environment
  • Will muck in and be one of the team when needed. Walk the Talk!
  • Good interpersonal skills, being able to deal with people at all levels.
  • Coaching, motivating and training skills
  • Ensure procedures are followed and compliance criteria and quality standards are met
  • Ability to pick up an understanding of a technical product and service solution
  • Excellent relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ideally you will come from a supplier-based background, within the trades industry.
  • To be well organized…full of energy, drive and committed to make things happen!
