Call Centre Team Leader - Sales 

We have an amazing Call Centre Leadership role on offer in a vibrant, upbeat high growth business with a dynamic team thats growing by the minute!     

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a high growth company, in a modern, Auckland office. It provides an opportunity to take a leadership role, make decisions and own this part of the business. 

You will be responsible for leading and managing all call centre activity, you will coach and mentor the team, creating a culture and environment of sales, growth, cross-sell, upsell and engagement. As well as continued learning and dedication to making the most of every opportunity. 

You will be responsible for designing and evolving the call centre operations and strategy and implementing it to drive additional sales and maximise conversion rates. You will ensure the team is motivated to achieve and surpass sales targets and you will implement Sales Incentive plans and regularly review their effectiveness, suggesting and making improvements as required.

You will also be responsible for understanding Campaign effectiveness and working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to create closing tools. You will also be responsible for creating new training material on a regular basis.

You will be responsible for assessing and implementing new processes and technology to drive efficiencies and effectiveness and solving customer problems as and when they arise. You will also be responsible for the effective resourcing of the team to maximise conversions.

About you

You have a positive, can-do attitude and are a problem solver. You have extensive experience managing and leading Call Centres, but specifically outbound sales teams and understand the urgency of meeting and exceeding targets. 

Experience in working with Power & Telco would be advantageous but not a necessity.

You aspire to manage a team that thrives on success and breeds activity. 

You have the ability to understand what motivates people, the structure, process and tools that drive success in a call centre and you lead by example. You have the ability to see the big picture, adapt and thrive in a competitive environment and are driven by success. 

You will also be able to manage complaints, have excellent relationship building skills and are always looking at ways to do things better.
