As an experienced, dynamic General Manager, you will lead the growing operations of our company and actively target growth and diversity opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, can work with a high degree of self-autonomy and has the leadership skills to inspire a growing team of practically minded people.
The position will lead a diverse team of senior business unit managers within the Canterbury region, with a focus on innovative and quality assured outcomes for the long-term future. You will be responsible for over 200 staff, with your core responsibilities focused on delivering sustainable civil projects and infrastructure maintenance spanning both SICON and Blakely Construction.
With the company focused on strong sustainable growth over the next few years, it is committed to ensuring the business units are well supported and have strong leadership to maximise opportunities that arise.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and part of the company’s Senior Leadership Team, you will have at least 10 years’ proven experience in senior general management roles, be drawn to the exciting environment that technology is bringing to the industry, and have a proven track record on managing projects and leading people at various operational levels.
