Applications are invited from individuals interested to act as Trustees for the Central Energy Trust. The Trust, which is based in Palmerston North, was established as a consumer trust in July 1993 and currently holds a portfolio of investments.
The Trustees are responsible for recommending and implementing policies relating to:
- The distribution of income to appropriate consumer beneficiaries in the Manawatu / Tararua region;
- The management of Trust investment funds;
- Other administrative matters required under the Deed of Trust.
There are currently five Trustees and two Trustees will retire under the terms of the Deed of Trust as at 30 September 2018. The two successful applicants will each be appointed for a three year term commencing 1 October 2018. Preference will be given to applicants residing in the Manawatu and Tararua regions.
