This role is with their highly motivated Auckland team based in Wiri.


Role Profiles
Reporting to the National Sales Manager and working closely with the Auckland Branch management these two roles are focussed on selling auger attachments and other machinery add-ons.as well as general machinery.
You will be responsible for developing an effective sales strategy and building positive working relationships in the field with large target clients through listening, understanding and developing solutions to meet their machinery requirements.
The successful candidates must have a proven commitment to providing outstanding customer service, be highly communicative, work collaboratively as part of a close knit team and be well organised work planners.


Person Profile
You will be an energetic person who is self-driven, enjoys autonomy and variety, and who will thrive on building strong positive relationships with customers and be willing to go the extra mile for them.
Your ability to understand the unique requirements of their construction or civil works tasks will establish you as a knowledgeable industry professional.
You will be first and foremost a sales professional who also has a skill in technical product understanding and presentation.


Skills and Experience Required

  • Ideally you will have several years proven success selling a technical product or product range to industry in the NZ market;
  • The ability to understand important technical information and portray ideas, concepts and processes of a technical nature;
  • An intuitive understanding to grasp the key issues during on-site evaluations and diligence in following up on customer requirements such as quotations;
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain integral working relationships and networks within an industry;
  • Familiarity with the development of your own sales plans, sales targets and budgets as required for your territory;
  • A conscientious and professional approach in attitude, appearance and service at all times;  
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills with a passion for providing customer solutions.
