Yakult Honsha Co. Ltd. is a major Japanese beverage manufacturer with a substantial manufacturing plant in Victoria, Australia.Since the Australian Company launched the unique fermented milk drink "Yakult' in February 1994, the Company has experienced huge success, which has resulted in branch operations in all states of Australia.
Our product was launched in New Zealand in June, 2004, and we now have a branch office located in Auckland. The sales and marketing of our product is through a wide range of retail outlets across Auckland, Waikato and The Bay of Plenty.
Presently, we are seeking a sales representative to join our sales team at entry level. Sales Rep. will be responsible to liaise and develop relationships at store level with the full range of accounts throughout Auckland and regional areas. Applicants must be able to demonstrate some level of sales experience in a variety of food retail stores and be responsible for negotiating and building business at store level.
Daily duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Driving a manual company van to deliver Yakult stock
- Correctly completing client invoices and receipts
- Completing daily sales paperwork
- Retrieving, counting and balancing stock
- Completing all customer site visits within a designated territory and timeframe
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- There will be a requirement to complete a "country" trip requiring you to spend 2 nights away from home monthly

Candidates must have a current manual driver's licence as sales representatives are required to operate the Company's manual refrigerated vans to deliver Yakult to the market.
