Due to expansion across our digital, broadcast, and print channels we are looking for an experienced media sales professional to join our business development team. Proven experience in media sales is important, and knowledge of the automotive industry would be an advantage, but is not essential. We are in a growth phase, and the successful candidate will benefit from the advantage that our two-thirds audience-share gives us over our competitors. If you understand how all sales channels (including digital, broadcast, and print) converge in the current media environment, and are looking for an opportunity to better leverage your existing network, read on to see if you match the following profile.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Sales experience — at least 3–5 years media sales desirable, proven B2B success essential

  • Communication — a good listener and effective negotiator with a personality that instills confidence and trust at first contact; outstanding written, verbal and telephone abilities essential

  • Relationship management — proven success working in a structured client service team environment

  • Personal attributes — an organized sales closer, with excellent presentation and time management skills.

Job responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Achieves assigned sales quotas

  • Develops the sales pipeline, including new business targets, budgets and reporting

  • Establishes and maintains productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned client accounts

  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards

  • Maintains accurate CRM and internal reporting systems

You will be a pragmatic individual who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-oriented environment. You apply your creative thinking to construct deals, and you are driven to meet and exceed targets and KPIs to make visible your success within a team.

This is a senior-level role and your application will need to show evidence of your experience against the prescribed skillset in order to be considered for the position.
