Human Connections group has partnered exclusively with Educating Adventures for the appointment of a Sales Manager based in Queenstown.
The Company
Educating Adventures is a travel agency with a difference, they specialise in educational, sports and school trips and tours as well as ski and snowboard training across New Zealand, Europe, North and South America.
The Job
This is an exciting, newly created role which is responsible for the development of the School Group Travel division with a focus on sustaining relationships with existing clients and developing new ones.
Your job is to introduce educational and sports tours to clients that are located in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Your clients are both private and international schools and your decision makers vary from teachers to head teachers and principals.
You will be creating unique trips and tours which are tailored specifically to your clients requirements, you will be adept at building strong relationships and providing an exceptional service which is unbeatable in terms of experience and value for money.

Building relationships over the phone, email, skype and face to face

Qualifying client needs and expectations to create unique experiences

Astute organisational skills and logistical skills in creating tour itineraries

Excellent communication skills with a customer first approach to business

Outstanding follow up and customer service capability

Ability to handle detailed and complex information

Flexibility to work around various time zones to communicate with your clients

Proficient Microsoft Office especially in Word, Excel and Outlook
You will ideally be based in Queenstown and work closely with the rest of the team in the business but if you are based outside Queenstown and have the experience we are looking for them this will be considered.
You will be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the educational school tours and trips market and even better if you have worked with UK based schools and/or international schools. You get your kicks from creating lasting memories for young people in some of the most incredible parts of the world.
