About the role
This role is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of both consumer and trade marketing programs in the NZ and Global market. It requires a highly credible individual, with a proven ability to build a business and achieve long-term sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Work with supply, sales and finance, to prepare and execute plans to deliver key financial targets including net revenue and market share targets within timescales and budget.
- Contribute to and implement the annual activation business plan including category 4Ps, monitor performance and competitor activity and recommend adjustments to the strategy & tactics.
- Monitor market performance and ensure the successful implementation of plans. Review market share and develop contingency plans when required with the team to align to category strategy.
- Ensure promotion laws (LSM) are in line with area and global brand and commercial strategy and are adhered to across the customer mix.
- Accountable for the consumer marketing & trade marketing budget for the category.
Requirements
- Minimum Tertiary Qualifications of a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 7 years extensive sales and business financial experiences.
- Objective, innovative and commercially minded individual
- Positive Can-Do attitude with a proven commitment to their work
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks with a diverse range of prioritise and problems
- Ability to leverage social media and emerging technologies to drive sales revenue.
- Sales and financial background helpful with superior communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience at senior level in establishment and running of enhanced digital platforms in a multi-channel (B2B & B2C) marketing and sales environment
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
