About the role
Based in the Spark Business Hub Queenstown, this role reports to the Business Hub Manager. Your primary purpose is to acquire new Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) business to the Spark Business Hub customer base through selling ICT solutions.
- Consistently meeting agreed sales targets to earn uncapped commission!
- Acquiring new business by prospecting, business networking, referrals and liaising with the account managers
- Building relationships with all key contacts in assigned portfolio by understanding the customer environment
- Marketing all company products and services including mobile, mobile broadband, landlines, business broadband, IT Hardware and accessories
- Providing accurate forecasts of sales opportunities & updating customer profiles for all accounts using sales tools documents.
What you will bring
- Proven experience in solution sales in a BDM role ('hungry' to win a new Account)
- B2B experience
- Team player
- Coachable
- Experience in shortening the sales cycle
- Used to working with a high beat rate environment
- Proven relationship building skills in the SME sector
- ICT/IT sales background will be advantageous
- A passion for providing excellence in service to your customers
- Highly focussed, to the point of obsession, on sales targets and goals – must take accountability for results
