About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work with our team to win us more business with our fantastic website offering to business owners in Auckland of all sizes. No technical experience is required just an enthusiasm for sales and learning about new things - because no two days are the same,
We have a proven methodology for cold-calling business owners to get appointments for websites. This is a role with achievable goals in a company with progression opportunities. If you are experienced, motivated, and ready to learn about everything from motor vehicles to manufacturing, then apply below.
What you would be doing
The main things that you would be doing include:
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Converting opportunities into long term relationships
- Maintaining a portfolio of established clients
- Forecasting/demand planning for clients projected orders
- Providing advice to clients
- Ensuring CRM and other information is kept up to date and accurate
- Liaising with web developers to manage production schedules
- Liaising with clients to discuss account arrears
- Liaising with management to discuss sales performance
- Develop ideas and innovate to improve our existing sales and business processes to improve performance and 'make things better'
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Sales experience; strategic selling and presentation skills
- Experience with achieving sales targets autonomously
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Previous experience in an account management role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem solving ability and a keen eye for detail
- Good time management skills
- Experienced with Microsoft Office products
- Sound negotiation skills
- Enthusiasm and passion for what you do
- Active team player
