A challenging and exciting role for an experienced hunter to work with the leading ICT solutions provider in New Zealand.
We are a key channel partner of Spark New Zealand and have a very special role to play in Spark's distribution strategy in the SME market. To facilitate this and our growth aspirations, we need to fill this position urgently and are offering an OTE between $100-$120K.


As an ICT Business Development Manager, your role is to find new business opportunities and sell Spark's products and solutions to SME sector. This is a role for someone who knows how to sell and for whom winning is a habit. We are looking for the consummate hunter who thrives on challenges and is driven by success. You will be a self-starter and self-motivated. You must have a successful background in business development in the SME sector. You will have to be well presented and articulate, with good business sense. We only want to meet with applicants that really want to work hard, enjoy a fast-paced sales environment and get a real buzz from signing up new customers and enjoy being and feeling successful.
 

Key responsibilities:
•    Cold calling, door knocking, canvassing, networking and lead generation
•    Identifying new accounts to sell products and services into
•    Identify client requirements and build a sales solution to meet their needs
•    Present telecommunications solutions to new business customers and close sales
•    Implement the sales strategy to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded
•    Maintain a high-profile presence in the market place through the creation of win-win situations with customers that turn a sales relationship into a long-term commercial partnership
•    Develop and maintain a strong pipeline in CRM
•    Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives
•    Provide excellence in sales and service by taking full ownership and accountability for the new customer
•    Identify client requirements and build a sales solution to meet their needs


To succeed in this role, you must:
•    Be a 'hunter' with a proven track record of new business acquisition in the SME sector
•    Be a star cold caller, presenter and closer
•    Be Target and Results driven
•    Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
•    Be computer literate, experienced in the use of CRM and Sales Pipeline Management applications (desirable not essential)
•    Be able to motivate and communicate to a wide audience
•    Be able to work autonomously and show initiative at all times
•    Work well in a team environment
•    Experience in the ICT industry (desirable)
•    Minimum 2 years of Solution Selling experience in Business to Business (desirable not essential)
•    Be highly organised with excellent time management skills
