Regional Sales Manager
- Full-time permanent role
- Northern region (Auckland and Northern)
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager with a solid sales management background and drive to succeed to join Claymark Ltd, a specialist in milling, manufacturing and distribution of high quality timber products. You will be required to have NZ timber industry experience in sales of high grade timber, weatherboard, mouldings and/or remanufactured products. Key contributions to your success will be achieving and exceeding sales targets and margins, while actively promoting the Company’s high-quality products and services to existing and new customers. You will be responsible for monitoring market trends, in order to pursue new opportunities, whilst forecasting estimated customer demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reaching sales targets and growing market share
- Efficiently responding to sales inquiries
- Educating customers on the benefits of working with the Company by exhibiting a solid product knowledge
- Focussing on business development, actively seeking new market opportunities
- Passionate about understanding customers’ needs and proactively developing and growing positive relationships
- Efficiently resolving any potential sales issues with customers
- Reporting any potential credit or product issues
- Co-ordinating the reporting of market information
- Co-ordinating the forecasting of customer demand with the Production Team
- Ensuring all operations are undertaken in compliance with Company H&S policies and procedures
- Travelling extensively throughout New Zealand
Our ideal candidate will have solid negotiation and problem-solving skills, financial acumen and be committed to going above and beyond to deliver quality service to customers. Excellent reporting skills and the ability to think strategically is crucial to this role. Excellent communication skills and a positive and outgoing personality is essential.
