About the role

We currently have a vacancy for an enthusiastic Inside Sales Officer based in either our Christchurch or Auckland office.

This position reports directly to the New Zealand Manager.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• liaising with wholesale customers on the phone and e-mail
• close cooperation with New Zealand based account managers
• maintaining and enhancing good relationships with current and new customers
• preparing quotations and processing orders.
• other customer service based activities – progress checking of customer orders, new account set ups, follow up and solving customer inquiries and requests

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will have;

• clear and effective communication skills,
• attention to detail and the capacity to meet branch sales targets and tight deadlines.
• The ability to prioritise your workload and to multi task in a fast-paced environment is necessary.

The successful candidate should have;

• a good understanding of customer service,
• a knowledge of Electronic Components and
• proficient skills in Microsoft Excel would be advantageous.
