A key player in the supply of a range of building materials to the building / construction industry.

This business is looking for an Account Manager to take over some client relationships in the building industry, where you will be further promoting the product range and service.  While this is predominantly an Account Management role, looking after and growing existing customers, there will be an element of building relationships with new customers and finding opportunities.

More about the position:

• 70% Account Management, 30% New Business
•  Getting out to see you customers as well as responding to quotes that come into the office ( Supported by Customer service function)
• You will be responsible for understanding new building projects, residential and commercial opportunities and meeting with decision makers to present the product/service offering.
• Managing some very large orders on site and coordinating with all internal support staff.
• Maintaining a busy pipeline of opportunity 
• Being involved in a range of construction and development projects.

More about the right candidate:

• Building industry experience within a Sales position
• Knowledge of a range of  glass, windows, hardware etc would be beneficial.
• Experience dealing with the trade sector, the process of introducing products and contract renewals.
• Good quoting and customer follow up skills.
