Our client is currently on the search for an experience Business Development Manager to join their team based in Auckland.
The company operate nationally and have several workshops spread across the North and South Island. They are main distributor of heavy machinery and trucks here in New Zealand and some great growth plans over the next 2 years.
About your new role:
Reporting to the National Manager, the role will see you engaging key customers in the industry and raising awareness around NZ Trucks and what the compnay can offer in the service and repair market space. You will work closely with the branches and assist in growing service agreements across the country.
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a similar position with an element of business development.
- Previous experience in the NZ trucking industry is preferable
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to identify and hunt out new business as well as maintain existing relationships
- Team Player with a positive encouraging attitude
- Ability and flexibility to travel across New Zealand when required.
