About the business and the role

Addiction Pet Foods is a manufacturer of global pet food brands – Addiction and Wishbone. We operate New Zealand's largest dry pet food plant in Te Puke where we manufacture and export the highest quality pet foods in the world. We are passionate about pets and "We go to the Ends of The Earth for your Pet" by only using the highest quality raw materials in the cleanest place in the world to produce pet food.

With good business growth, we are looking for a Sales Executive who is responsible for the maximization of sales for the company's products.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Maintains and develops good relationship with customers through personal contact or meetings or via telephone, etc.

  • Acts as a bridge between the company and its current market and future markets

  • Displays efficiency in gathering market and customer information to enable negotiations regarding variations in prices, delivery and customer specifications to their managers

  • Helps management in forthcoming products and discuss on special promotions

  • Reviews their own performance and aim at exceeding their targets

  • Records sales and order information and report the same to the sales department

  • Provides accurate feedback on future buying trends to his/ her direct Manager

Skills and experience

  • Graduate of Business Management or any business course

  • Strong Communication skills with strong business related knowledge

  • The ability and desire for sales job with a confident and determined approach

  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals

  • Should possess the skill to work both in team and also perform independently

  • Should be capable of thriving in the competitive markets

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills

  • Experience in the use of MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
