Who are we?

We are a leading supplier of quality technical products and solutions throughout New Zealand for the HVAC, Refrigeration, Industrial and Electrical markets. We also specialise in building automation solutions (BMS) for commercial and government facilities. We have three branches and over 50 staff.

What are we looking for?

An enthusiastic and motivated sales person looking to join a friendly, progressive and innovative sales team. Someone who loves providing solutions to our valued customers and they get a kick out of all things technical.

What will you be doing?

  • Prepare quotations for product sales, tenders, design build and other sales opportunities.
  • Develop new business, seek out sales prospects and work to progress those opportunities.
  • Sales trips within the North Island for sales or on-site commissioning.
  • Follow up on quotations, convert to sales, organise CAD drawings, function descriptions, Consultant approval, site commissioning and the final hand over to Customer.
  • Gain an in depth technical knowledge on the products being represented
  • Maintain existing customer base including sales calls, ensuring up to date company database information on all customers and contacts.    
  • Promote our product range to contractors / consultants / end users through presentations; promotional events, product launches and demonstrations
  • Provide product and systems training for staff and customers
  • Attend regular sales meetings to discuss budgets, results, strategies, trends, competitors & opportunities.

What are the skills that will make you even more ideal for the role?

  • A successful track record in technical sales for at least 2+ years
  • Electrical mechanical or HVAC training and practical experience
  • Capacity to absorb technical product knowledge and provide training support to others  
  • Proficiency with computers, operating systems and software packages
  • The ability to establish and maintain strong positive relationships with consultants and customers; deal confidently with a wide cross section of individuals
  • A talent for identifying sales growth opportunities and the motivation to pursue those opportunities.

  • We will pay you a competitive salary – paid fortnightly
  • When you hit the sales targets, we will pay you a bonus – that’s paid quarterly

  • To help you be effective a laptop and cell phone will be provided too
  • You will be based in our offices in Ngauranga, Wellington where our lunchtime discussions are epic and the team are too
