Technology Holdings is a Dunedin-based finance company and the head office for Advance Equipment Supplies and the Eftpos Specialists Group.  Due to a recent internal promotion, we are now seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our phone-based Outbound Sales Call Centre team

Our core purpose is "To enrich consumer retail experiences by delivering value added technology solutions to New Zealand businesses."  In the role of Business Consultant, you will contribute to this purpose by delivering compelling Eftpos and Point of Sale solutions to a variety of customers from all parts of the country.

Key responsibilities:

  • Making cold calls to businesses across New Zealand
  • Delivering on sales targets
  • Developing sales capability using the Eftpos Specialists needs based sales process
  • Selling across multiple products from Point of Sale systems and Eftpos, through to sim cards and paper
  • Asking  for the sale every time
  • Implementing  head office and regional strategies as directed by the Sales Manager

     

The successful applicant will have:

  • An open and optimistic attitude
  • An innate ability to proactively listen to customers to understand the needs of their business
  • Excellent conversational and written English skills
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • A proven ability to work autonomously, as well as in a team environment coupled with a desire to learn and develop
  • The flexibility to work working in an industry that is constantly changing and evolving to meet customer demands
  • Sales and technical knowledge are an advantage –  but not a necessity
