Due to the company's continued growth, we are seeking talented individuals to join our sales team working as a Internal Account Manager, located in Auckland. This position will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager. You will be relied upon to answer customer phone calls and emails, process customer orders, make proactive outbound calls emphasizing current promotions and deliver great customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and growing channel accounts within your portfolio
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing IT-Reseller customers
  • Processing customer orders and advising them of current company specials and promotions
  • Updating customers with back order product arrival information
  • Taking customer phone calls and handling them in a professional manner
  • phone engagement with customers within your customer portfolio
  • Hitting your monthly sales / active customer / proactivity based KPIs

Key skills for this position would be highly regarded:

  • A degree within an IT field and/or sound technical background of IT products
  • Excellent knowledge of how to use a PC including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and a genuine passion to do the best you can and make customers feel valued and happy
  • Experience in a similar role, whether it be through another ICT Distributor, Vendor, or Reseller. Dealing with IT products and engaging with IT resellers
  • Strong business development skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and develop business opportunities
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results
  • Hard working and reliable
  • High level of discipline and professionalism
  • Clear communicator, both oral and written
  • Ability to self-manage
  • Excellent time management skills
