  • Managing sales territory
  • Reporting to – Sales Manager
  • Reasonable travel – away from Auckland
  • Permanent – full time

 

Our client is a well known industrial engineering company dealing with – flow control and process engineering product range. Due to unprecedented business growth, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales – Territory Manager, based in Auckland.

 

Ideal candidate will have minimum 5-6 years industrial engineering sales experience in New Zealand. Candidates with experience selling – pumps, valves, filters, flow control, process engineering products, will certainly have advantage over other applicants.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow sales territory
  • Selling product range at all levels – contractors, engineers, consultants, senior managers
  • Regularly contacting territory/existing customers and clients
  • Making sales calls – to existing clients and customers
  • Making sales calls for new business
  • Identifying new business opportunities
  • Preparing quotes & emailing them to clients
  • Customer and user – product training
  • Product presentations
  • Identifying competitor marketing activities
  • Updating National Sales Manager, with competitor activities
  • Communicating with other business units, within the company
  • Reporting sales and business activity to – National Sales Manager
  • Achieving KPI’s
  • Working with – CRM database

 

Skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5-6 years NZ experience selling: pumps, valves, filters, flow control, process engineering - products
  • Strong negotiator
  • Excellent communicator
  • IT – literate

 

This is a permanent full time position, based in Auckland, with reasonable out of town travel
