As we are in a period of rapid growth Activata are on the hunt for a driven and forward thinking Territory Manager in Auckland, covering Auckland, South Auckland, Hamilton and surrounds.

Our ideal candidate will have proven business development experience, excellent communication skills and actively strive to build and advance strong relationships with existing and new customers.

The Company: Activata is New Zealand's only kiwi-owned activation, payment and display network. We help partners easily connect with consumers at convenience store level and we are moving into a period of rapid expansion in the FMCG industry. Consumers enjoy our vast product offering which includes gift cards, digital currency, mobile SIMS, mobile top up vouchers, phone cards, prepaid power, bill payment and transport services.

Key Position Responsibilities: 

• Consistently develop and maintain great relationships with each retailer, ensuring they remain in contract and to actively pursue retailers outside the Activata network.  
• Maintain regular call and visit cycles, sharing product knowledge, checking store displays, merchandising and keeping our products top of mind. 
• Effectively taking ownership of growth in your territory and maximising the sales of all Activata products in your region.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in effective business to business sales within a technical environment.
• Proven ability to achieve stretched sales targets.
• A strong background in customer focused and relationship building sales approach.  
• Experience in Route and/or the FMCG industry would be an advantage, although full training will be provided.

What we offer: A competitive package including base salary + company vehicle + cell phone + laptop + excellent on target earnings is available to the right candidate.  This is a full time position based in our Auckland office.

 Applicants must have the right to live and work in NZ and must have a valid New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record.
