THE ROLE:

These Territory Account Manager roles are rarer than hen's teeth and as this business is growing we are looking to increase the team to keep up with the success.….so that makes them even rarer still!!.

These TAM's are not just normal everyday TAM's….these sales legends are where the rubber meets the road and are fully tasked to optimise the growth opportunities in the existing client accounts, delivering all of the exciting bonuses and developments of the extensive member programes while also spending the required time building new customers into their portfolio. Your ability to bond with your accounts as a true business partner will be the key to you delivering strong long term results in this exciting opportunity.

This role is Christchurch based, reporting to the sensational new Head Office in Hamilton (Waikato), with travel required on occasion to cover an amazing territory clientelle throughout the South Island region, so flexibility is definitely key. This business is highly progressive and is always looking to be innovative and build growth....and then build it again, so the opportunities for internal career development are in your hands through the results you deliver.

THE KEY TO YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE WILL BE:

  • A very experienced B2B Sales Super Star, with a unique blend of sales hunter / farmer skills
  • Previous exposure to the Automotive or Building industry would be a huge bonus!!
  • Energetic self-starter who has a record of being able to knock down relationship barriers
  • Ability to build customer relationships where you are seen as a business partner
  • Be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously under pressure while delivering as a team
  • Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for proposal preparation, pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems
  • Have the ability to think on your feet during a sales call to be able to establish the client's needs effectively to then sell the appropriate solution
  • Has the ability to sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects and PB's of the various solutions
  • Highly proactive by nature
  • Commercially astute with an innate ability to understand your client's business growth levers
  • Strong understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to sales
  • Conduct Sales calls which demonstrate a level of understanding of the customers market place/ situation so you can identify opportunities and build solutions to deliver on these.
  • High computer literacy especially in Excel & Word
  • Unwavering attention to detail
  • Comfortable in a multi-tasking, cross functional environment with the capability to plan time and workload effectively
  • Lots of drive, personality, energy and passion
