We are a successful and progressive industry leader looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead a successful sales team within the New Zealand freight industry. We are looking for a positive leader who is driven and dedicated to getting the best results from their team. 

WHO WE ARE - Findatruckload (FTL) is a unique web based organisation that offers an online marketplace, freight management solutions and transport advisory services. We create ways for transport operators to increase profit, reduce cartage costs for freight owners and reduce carbon emissions in the process. Recognising a unique opportunity FTL was established to solve the problem of trucks running empty and provide freight owners with sustainable transport solutions.  We have experienced phenomenal growth over the last few years and we need to grow our team to meet the demands of our customers and the rapidly growing industry.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports directly to CEO
  • National Key Account Management
  • Manage and grow a team of Business Development Managers
  • Develop and execute sales strategies
  • Set and manage team KPI's
  • Training and ongoing performance management of the sales team based throughout NZ
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships will all members of the Company

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven history of Sales and Team Management is essential
  • Willingness to travel weekly
  • Domestic transport knowledge 
  • A positive success leading attitude
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent time management, communication and negotiation skills
  • Innovative, self motivated and self disciplined
  • Ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers and colleagues
  • Competent PC user
  • Ability to work independently from home

Competitive market remuneration package comprising of base salary + commission and a company vehicle.
