The opportunity
Our client is a global leader of products, services and solutions for the Water and Food & Beverage industries. They have evolved through an ongoing commitment to best manufacturing practices, innovative design, customer service, technology and quality delivery.  The company is seeking a Sales Support Engineer to join their internal customer service team.
 
About the role
Reporting to the Customer Services Team Leader, this is an office based Technical Sales Support position that will be the primary contact point for managing orders, quotes, credits and technical enquiries for products associated with their Food and Beverage sector. 
  
Bubbly and energetic, you will have top notch communication skills and an ability to build rapport quickly.  Inquisitive and technically minded, you will work closely with the business’s Key Accounts Managers and have an ability to talk credibly about the business’s products to their clients.  You will take responsibility for CRM reporting and information management and ensure that company processes are being met. This is an exciting role for someone who is looking to move into a customer centric role.
  
To be successful in this role, you must have
  • At least 3 years experience in a Sales, Account Management or Customer Services role, within a manufacturing or engineering business (preferred),
  • Excellent organisational skills, the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure,
  • The ability to speak knowledgably and credibly on technical engineering products,
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • An ability to interact with clients at all levels, both internally and externally,
  • Strong computer skills, exposure to SAP is highly sort after,
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suite and CRM system.
