Part Time - 24 Hours a week (Fixed term 12 months) 

Competenz helps kiwis build skills, careers and businesses. We develop national qualifications and make it easy to learn on the job. 

Through our network of offices, we look after the training needs of nearly 3,500 businesses, helping 20,000 people develop their skills on the job each year.  We design and manage qualifications to make sure our workforce is highly skilled.  We cover entry level to advanced technical trades qualifications.

We are currently looking for a part time Account Manager to join our provider’s team in Auckland. You will be responsible for promoting, developing, managing and arranging training to an agreed set of customers by working with, providers to successfully implement competency based training.

A key focus of the role will be to work alongside our providers to achieve strong educational outcomes for our learners, you will maintain existing relationships, and grow learner portfolio numbers and acquire new business.

We would expect that the successful applicant uphold a high level of customer service and enthusiasm, whilst striving to achieve customer satisfaction and the overall objectives of the company.  The ability to uphold a relationship with customers and clients involved in the industry is crucial.

This role is ideal for someone who has had previous exposure to the education sector or NZQA requirements, and managed their own portfolio of customers.

  • Understanding of Education or Training industry beneficial (NZQA knowledge).
