Territory Manager – Dunedin

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated and results driven FMCG Territory Manager to continue to grow and develop key customer relationships in the Dunedin/Invercargill/Oamaru territory.

This is already a strong performing territory and we are looking for someone who can continue to drive growth, identify further opportunities and build on the strong business partnerships already in place.  You will be selling across all of Unilever’s categories and household brands.

You need to be comfortable with large volumes of data and building strategic business plans. This role is hands-on and autonomous.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain contact with customers in accordance with a call plan and customer requirements
  • Drive distribution and speed to market of new products
  • Organise display space for Unilever promotions
  • Be up to date on knowledge of new products, competitor products and market information.
  • Maintain activity records and report on all phases of field activities while ensuring that business activities comply with legal and ethical demands

You are:

You will need to be a strong performer who can continue to deliver and drive results. Ideally you will have experience selling into Foodstuffs but you may also be looking for a stepping stone into the FMCG industry and want an organization that can offer long-term career opportunities and a great place to work. The team are all driven, determined and focused, and you will fit right in if you can also demonstrate these attributes. 

You will need to be comfortable with high expectations, accountability, collaboration, and possess these key skills:

  • Negotiation capabilities
  • Strong communication
  • Developing strong customer relationships
  • Customer Management and selling essentials
  • Strong planning and implementation skills
