To complete its dynamic team, they are looking for candidates to fill the position of Junior Account Manager in Auckland, New Zealand.
About the opportunity
The Junior Regional Account Manager ensures a constant presence in their key accounts by calling, visiting and scheduling appointments, demonstrations, workshops and exhibitions to promote existing or new products. Constantly looking for new sales opportunities, the Junior Regional Account Manager will build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and forecast using a CRM system, leading to attainment of budget and medium-term visibility of major sales opportunities.
You must keep up to date on all available products and must be able to create and execute marketing activities geared at targeting potential clientele. You are expected to achieve profitable sales growth through the referral network and direct sales with potential end-user clients. This position reports directly to the Field Sales Manager, Australia and New Zealand.
Requirements:
- Previous B2B / retail sales experience, preferably within the medical education, healthcare, pharmaceutical or device industries;
- Relationships with education, employment, rehabilitation, community and eye care professional sectors, as well as Federal and State accounts and agencies
- Knowledge of the Optometry industry would be advantageous but not essential;
- University degree in business, marketing or health sciences (or equivalent);
- Goals, results and client oriented;
- Strong negotiation skills along with the ability to create and deliver results;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly with any audience;
- Superior time management, organisation and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent presentation, communication, oral and writing skills;
- Self-motivated and self-starter;
- Available to work a flexible schedule with frequent travel.
