Turfrey are a company and team of people focused on providing total performance in the essential services we offer – Plumbing, Gasfitting, Roofing, Heating & Drainage. We cater to the residential and commercial sectors and cover the majority of the North Island.

We are looking for a strong sales person to take on a role as a Technical Advisor - this is a sales role based in our Hamilton branch. The ability to work autonomously but still having team focus is critical, as is a strong entrepreneurial flair, and high levels of self drive and motivation.

You will, however, be supported in your success by a well established business behind you, with fantastic offering and leading products,brands & skilled technicians. The position objectives are to qualify the leads generated by our marketing, carry out site visits, create quotes and ultimately convert these into sales.

This involves quoting and converting sales for Wood Fires, Gas Fires, Central Heating, Gas Hot Water & other related products and services.

Responsibilities will include actively networking to uncover and grow sales opportunities and new relationships and becoming a 'subject matter expert' on the full range of Turfrey products and services. 

We are looking for an experienced sales person with a strong affinity for all things 'trade related'. You will have the ability to understand building plans, and produce accurate quotations. Experience in the construction industry is particularly appealing. You will also have excellent planning and administrative capabilities, plus have a sound working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and relevant industry related technology systems.

We have a operational team in the branch of 30+ lead and supported by a Roofing Manager, Plumbing Manager, Contracts admins and Customer Services/Showroom Sales.
