The Opportunity:
We have a great opportunity for an experienced person to lead and develop our New Lynn team.
You will report to the Regional General Manager, grow business in a competitive environment, proactively develop new business opportunities, and maintain existing relationships. The role is sales and people focused where you will:
- Lead, support and motivate your team
- Seek out, win and maximise sales
- Exceed financial and cash flow targets
- Promote key initiatives
- Drive process improvements, increase efficiency and evolve operations to meet changing customer and market needs
As a focused Leader you will be recognised for driving a high performance culture and be a critical part of optimising the success of your branch. The branch requires a self-motivator with focus and drive, who can juggle conflicting priorities, work smart to meet the demand, keep cool under pressure and provide solutions.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a sales and business environment
- Experience in people management, with a good handle on monitoring and evaluating team performance
- Financial planning, P & L and budgeting capabilities
- Intermediate level of computer literacy (experience with ERP systems advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety requirements
