We are currently looking for an energetic Sales Executive for our vet and retail business. 

Role Overview & Purpose

This role involves the management of existing and development of potential Veterinary Clinics and Specialty Pet clinics in a specified geographic territory.

Through exceptional customer service, superior product knowledge and nutritional understanding, and the development of great relationships, this role is integral in Royal Canin becoming the reference in Health Nutrition in the market.

By partnering with the customers to grow their business and find the best product for their customer needs, this role will ensure the recommendation of Royal Canin & Eukanuba products and drive growth.

Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, and building strong relationships with peers and all team members to achieve results in this territory and contribute to sales across the business.

This role requires a capable and driven Sales Representative and passionate pet lover to directly contribute to the overall success of Royal Canin Pacific.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor the financial performance and revenue profit targets with the aid of full financial data.
  • Follow a programmed cycle of service calls to promote the company’s products for select applications.
  • Provide advice on products, using unique product attributes which will ensure the customer adopts our products as their first choice.
  • Provide assistance with documentation and technical support, to further enforce our product solutions and offerings.
  • Conducting presentations for the customer’s key staff, demonstrating new products and the correct use of current products and their support tools (e.g. marketing material, technical briefs, product books and POS material).
  • Constantly assessing your customer’s preference for our products and features and to ensure that Royal Canin is the customer’s first choice of product.
  • Identify customer needs for product training. Conduct or participate in training programs to maximize the customer’s product knowledge and skills in dealing with and selling our products.
  • Identify additional opportunities for increased distribution of Royal Canin.
  • To use allocated resources efficiently and effectively.
  • To perform other job related duties as required.

Key Experience

  • 2 years of sales experience

  • Proven track record of success
  • Clinical Veterinary experience preferred

  • Contribution individually and as a team member to meet or exceed allocated targets.
  • Company procedures are to be complied with.
  • Effective resolution of complaints from customers.
  • Actively participate in promotions being run by the company to promote and distinguish Royal Canin as the preferred product in the market place.
  • Participation in compulsory conference calls.
  • Ordering the correct POS material to suit your territory and effectively using the resources allocated.
  • Administration tasks are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Meeting agreed sales driver KPI’s to place Royal Canin in the high category of been purchased.
