Our client is a reputable law firm looking for a highly skilled Trust Accountant to provide top quality financial services to the overall firm.
Duties in the role:
- Overall responsibility for the firm’s accounts including monthly reporting, annual reporting, completing and filing tax returns
- Undertaking daily trust accounting of 2 Trust Accounts
- Inputting bank statements into Infinity Law and marking off items
- Bank reconciliation, receipting, processing payments
- Quarterly receipting of interest, commission and preparing spreadsheets
- Arranging increased trust account limits as and when required
- Processing write-offs, transfers and journals
- Transaction input following processing
- Overall responsibility for monthly billing cycle
- Collating, input, drafting, finalizing and posting bills
- Submitting bills to clients within stipulated time frames
- Issuing Account Rendered Statements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- 3+ years’ high quality corporate office experience
- Client facing experience in a professional services environment
- Financial and trust accounting experience
- Exposure to InfinityLaw software ideally
- Highly proficient Microsoft Word, Excel and typing skills
- Professional style, manner, presentation and communication
- Calm under pressure and when faced with multiple interruptions
- Organised professional with the ability to manage priorities
- High quality, fast output of work
- Meticulous attention to detail
