About the business and the role

We need a driven, experienced BDM looking for flexible hours and a fun industry - approx 20 - 25 hours per week.This may increase later.

We're a small team focused on helping businesses promote their brands and grow their customers. Our clients, ranging from large corps and ad agencies to tradies and sports clubs, come to us with a brief and we offer branding solutions - usually with promotional products and apparel/uniforms but we will source or make whatever will suit the brief!

We are NZ's only carboNZero certified business in our industry and are looking for like-minded team members who are also passionate about sustainable solutions.

This role will be primarily based in the office in Parnell with only occasional visits to clients and prospects. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospecting for and securing new business
  2. Following up all new leads and nurturing them through the sales funnel
  3. Maintaining a portfolio of clients by providing quotes, managing orders and providing amazing customer service
  4. Maintaining the CRM database
  5. Assisting with social media and marketing campaigns
  6. Maximising opportunities with existing clients
  7. We're a small business so there will be an element of mucking-in to help the team where required

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. To demonstrate success in exceeding sales targets and nurturing leads 
  2. A strong environmental and social conscience
  3. To be comfortable cold calling leads and prospects
  4. To be highly motivated and an independent worker 
  5. To be great with computer systems and processes - fast learner
  6. To be highly organised and customer focused
  7. To have a great memory - there is a lot of product knowledge to suck up
  8. To be creative and think on your feet
  9. A full drivers licence 

Job benefits and perks

Remuneration will be a mix of salary and un-capped commission. No car provided but there is a pool car available for occasional use.
